Imitation leather fiber board material and most likely once part of a larger set; 26 x 16 x 6" in size with hand-tooled 4.5" bronze initialed plaque; was once sealed with glued on claim-check seal dated 28 May 1942; claim check has faint typed name and address of Eva Braun in Munich; (Braun lived in Munich while working for Heinrich Hoffman, photographer to Hitler and the Nazi Party); interior is green artificial silk with Munich manufactures name plate; two working latch type locks; a unique piece of Third Reich history -if only it could talk!
