Magnificant Early "Weyersberg" Luftwaffe Sword & hanger
Uncleaned early all nickle sword with a great deep, dark patina overall; bright, unsharpened blade bearing the Paul Weyersberg & Co-Solingen logo and Luftwaffe eagel proof above it (#5); blade is numbered (#143) to the scabbard on this early sword(see pics); leather buffer present; scabbards dark blue grained leather covering is near mint; flat-head screws that retain the scabbard fittings have never been turned; wire wrapped leather grip is perfect, tight with a dark patina; pommel exhibiting great detail to engraved oakleaves; pommel and crossguard swastikas exhibit a wonderful aged patina; original blue leather integral hanger assy; hard to upgrade this great early sword-photos say it all!
