Minty Luftwaffe Officers Dagger & Hanger by "Weyersberg"
This superb example is near mint with a bright blade bearing the Paul Weyersberg & Co-Solingen logo and Luftwaffe eagel proof above it (#5); scabbard is straight and perfect with great detail-appears to have never been cleaned with an overall dark age patina; dark orange grip with tight silver wire wrapping and a small hair-line crack to reverse and base; hilt and pommel shows much of their original darking and the detail to the eagle and oak leaves is superb; swastikas retain about 95 & 98% of their gold anodized color still! hangers are near mint showing only slight use; some gold remaining in buckle areas; spring clip marked DRGM; A match to the above sword!
