Army M35 Double Decal Helmet-1937
Early apple-green finish with both early decals; paint rates 95%; both decals show very little wear with much laquer protecting both, 95% eagle is bright silver still showing very little gold toning and national colors decal is 98%! This is a straight, as-issued pre- war helmet that survived combat without the removal of the National Color decal or any repaint or camo application; Has early un-reinforced aluminum liner band dated 1937; leather liner is thick, still tan in color and size 58 marked; size is also stamped in the crown with the dome stamp and on the rear flange! flange is stamped both ET66 and 3077; part of original black chinstrap remains in this great helmet; Getting impossible to find these anymore in superior, untampered-with condition.
